What is evil magic?   It is the power from the evil spirits.  This kind of magic is not good.  It is not like the magic you see on TV.  Evil magic can give a person power over others.  Simon used evil magic.  He saw the power that Jesus' followers had.  He wanted that power for himself.  He offered to pay money for that power.

What is God's Judgement?   Someday God will punish people who sin.  This is what "God's judgement". means.  But God does not punish right away.  He is waiting.  He wants to give people a chance to know Jesus so their sins can be for given.

Does anyone like being punished?     No one likes to get in trouble. But Proverbs 22:15 says that punishments can help us. They keep us from doing wrong and foolish things. And that makes life good.

What did Jesus' disciples do?   A disciple is a learner.  A disciple does not lead. A disciple follows.  Jesus trained his disciples to preach and teach. The disciples were ordinary men.  They weren't smarter than other people.  They weren't better.  But they loved Jesus.  They learned by doing what Jesus did.

How are little children important?   Jesus asked a little child to come to him.  The child came right away to stand beside Jesus.  the adults that Jesus preached to did not obey him as well as the little child did.  Obey Jesus.  Then you'll be an important person in God's eyes.

Why do things happen the way they do?   God controls everything that happens.  he doesn't need to use miracles to help his people.  He can use ordinary things.  God had control of all the events of Esther 6.  He even made it so King Xerxes couldn't sleep.  God used all these events to help his people.  That is God's way.

Why did Solomon ask God for wisdom?   Solomon wanted to be a good king.  He would be ruling God's people.  God was pleased that Solomon asked to be wise.  So God gave Solomon wisdom.  God said he would give Solomon riches and honor too.

What was the city of David?   Jerusalem was called the City of David.  David captured Jerusalem.  He made it the capital of his kingdom.

What was the Scroll of the Covenant?   It was probably the book of Deuteronomy.  A covenant is a promise.  Josiah and the people promised to do what God had told them.  Then God could bless Judah.

What are the Ten commandments?     The Ten Commandments are special rules God gave to the people of Israel.  They are for today too.  You can show love to God and to others by following these rules.
